Location
Pure Salt Port de Sóller is located on the Port de Sóller seafront, next to Playa d’en Repic beach; a quiet, idyllic location where you can enjoy an adults-only holiday with the Serra de Tramuntana as a backdrop. The hotel is 400 metres from the historic tramline to the town of Sóller and a 37-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca airport.
Beaches
The north coast of the island of Mallorca is home to breathtakingly beautiful beaches that are ideal for soaking up the sun the sun and enjoying a wide range of water activities. Port de Sóller has two beaches, one each side of the bay: Platja d’en Repic, which is directly opposite the hotel, is 270 metres long and renowned for its golden sand, and Platja des Través, which is the closest to the port.
Serra de Tramuntana
The Serra de Tramuntana, one of the island’s main tourist attractions, was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011, and offers a variety of routes that are perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle.
The GR221, a long-distance route known as the Dry Stone Route (la Ruta de la Pedra en Sec), crosses the Serra de Tramuntana and takes in the port. The interior is home to Mallorca’s highest peak, Puig Major, which rises to 1445 metres.
Port de sóller
Charming Port de Sóller, in the municipality of Sóller, is the only natural harbour on the north coast of Mallorca. Aside from the beaches, there are a number of attractions that are truly worthy of a visit, such as the Museum of the Sea (Museu Marítim), which is located in the former oratory of Santa Catalina and includes an interpretation centre for the history of Sóller. Other highlights include the Cap Gros lighthouse, the iconic wooden tramline, and the Torre Picada, a former watchtower located to the northeast of the port. There is also the possibility of enjoying a boat trip and, of course, an attractive range of dining and leisure options.
